Crystal Carpets are free anytime to all ages
The Crystal Carpet is a conveyor belt built into the snow that beginners stand on as they're gently transported uphill. Many kids and beginners find traditional rope tows kind of tricky to master. We'd rather have beginners spend more time learning how to get down the hill, than up it! The first Crystal Carpet measures 360 feet, and ascends the entire length of the Totem Park Learning Area. Just adjacent to this lift is a second carpet lift, that stretches 60 feet, and is used for Crystal's younger skiers and riders, like those enrolled in Adventure Cubs, Crystal Kids and Crystal Riders Snowboard Program. Free lift ticket required, obtainable at the Ticket Counter. Please note: not all carpets may be operating at all times.
